Where to begin? This outfit makes me think of Kim's amazing blog 'What Claudia Wore', because it's so awfully 90s that it looks like it may well have fallen out of the closet of one of the Babysitters Club's two most 'sophisticated' members. I'm thinking Stacey, since Claudia would have clashed colours too.
Anyway, Lo (for those who don't know, she's that one from The Hills who nobody really cares about) can look good when she tries. Today, she didn't really try hard enough, did she? Satin camel toe. Mmmm!
Pity the poor CQ team who have to compile a list of their dream items only to wake up to the usual Boots shower gel set; or is that just me?!
I've compiled a list of my most coveted items from all over the internet in a handy gallery, for your perusal. Hopefully it'll provide some ideas for your own wishlist as you click through and sigh wistfully along with me or use it as present inspiration for your bezzies.
We're huge fans of Amy Adams' style here at Catwalk Queen. In fact, we all agree she just keeps getting better and better on the red carpet, faultlessly picking colours and styles which flatter and accentuate. However, this floral Carolina Herrera dress had us taking pause: does she look her usual flawless self or a bit too mum-sy for our liking? We can't decide, so we'll ask you - what do you think? For any of you who happen to have been following Peaches Geldof as she puts together a magazine via her MTV show, then you may be interested to know that it's getting the official green light. Disappear Here, touted as a "women's magazine that appeals to men", will be distributed for free this Thursday at record shops, bars, boutiques, and clubs in London and New York.
The brainchild of Peaches and ex-Loaded publisher, James Brown, the magazine was the focus of a recent MTV documentary, which came under all sorts of scrutiny for being pretty dismal, and failing to attract viewers.
"The TV programme was a bit of a disaster," Brown admits.
This fawn-colored clutch at number 16 makes an excellent unexpected neutral and looks so soft! A detachable wristlet and studs make the Stuart Weitzman Flex Bownight wristlet, on sale for $175.99, extra stylish.
According to WWD, the diva has in fact enlisted the designer to create her forthcoming tour wardrobe, comprising of 58 outfits (!), as well allowing him to take on other roles, such as 'creative advisor'.
Mugler will contribute to all aspects of the show, including lighting and choreography, as well as directing three segments, called "Dangerously in Love," "Ave Maria" and the finale.
Beyonce reportedly fell in love with Mugler's pieces displayed at the Costume Institute's "Superheroes" exhibit, which explains why she has given him such an important role in the construction of her world tour.
La Roux is the name adopted by Elly Jackson, the synthy, '80s, superslick singer who is releasing 'Quicksand' possibly the best pop anthem of the winter on the 15th.
The video features her in full-on '80s mode, singing against a backdrop of impossibly cheesy sunsets, fancy cocktails and pineapples. She sports a great white jacket accessorised with a gold chain and leopard print scarf, and with that Tilda Swinton-esque mop of red hair and pale surely a fashion inspiration to us all?
